1. Thimphu, Bhutan
Thimphu is the largest and capital city of Bhutan, also the the fourth highest capital in the world by altitude. The city of Thimphu is home to most of the important buildings such as Dechencholing Palace, Tashichho Dzong, National Library, Folk Heritage Museum and venue for the important festival popularly known as Cham dances or mask dances called Tshechu.
2. Paro

4. Punakha
Punakha Dzong is one of the most majestic structures in Bhutan and also second largest dzong in the country after Trongsa Dzong. The Palace of Great Happiness is located close to east of the capital city, offers breathtaking view of the mountains, flowing river and green valley.
5. Wangdue Phodrang
The scenic Phobjikha Valley is located in the Wangdue Phodrang and home to list of most famous tourist attractions such as dzongkhags, impressive Gangteng Monastery, black-necked cranes, colourful Mask Dance Festival and popular trekking sites like Gangtey treks and Phubja Valley trek.
6. Trongsa Dzong
The massive and spectacular structure of Trongsa Dzong is the largest fortress in Bhutan, an important administrative building and tourist attraction, also listed as a one of the tentative site for UNESCO sites of Bhutan along with Rinpung Dzong.
7. Memorial Chorten
The Memorial Stupa or Memorial Chorten in Thimphu is a prominent landmark of the city and also known as the most visible religious landmark in Kingdom of Bhutan, located on Doeboom Lam.
8. Dochula Pass
Dochula mountain Pass on the road from Thimpu to Punakha is located at an elevation of 3,100 metres, The pass offers mesmerizing view of the snow-covered mountains, Royal Botanical Park, 108 stupas or chortens and rhododendron garden.
9. Motithang Takin Preserve
Motithang Takin Preserve is a wildlife area or mini-zoo created for the takin – the national animal of Bhutan. The unique animal is a large species of ungulate and also found in India at western Arunachal Pradesh known as Mishmi takin.
10. Buddha Dordenma Statue
Buddha Dordenma statue in the mountains of Bhutan is one of the largest Buddha rupas in the world, made of bronze and gilded in gold. The statue is a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue and also tallest statue in Kingdom of Bhutan.
